FTP Worker

Hey everyone,

I’ve just finished a nifty little tool. There probably are other variants available online but I never bothered searching for any of those ^.^

I spent alot of time lately working on a few websites and whenever I was away from home I used my laptop. But I always forgot the installer for my webdevelopment program.
So I use notepad++ on my laptop to do my css, html & php.

The only hassle I had, was that I had to manually upload the files to my ftp or run a local webserver in order to test my changes.
So I made a directory watcher that automatically uploads any changed files to my FTP 😀
I only have to run the tool, fill in my local root folder and my FTP data and have it run in the background. Whenever I open a file that is located within the local root folder and I save it, it will automaticly upload it to my FTP server 🙂

If anyone is interested in this little tool, feel free to drop me a comment or send me an e-mail 😉

Kind regards,

Dirk
